Hewlett-Packard 5328A

The HP5328A, through the use of technology such as a ROM controlled measurement cycle and a modular design, offers excellent universal counter performance for the price. Optional modules allow you to tailor the performance of the HP5328A to meet your particular measurement needs. It has 9 digit led displays. Its frequency range is from 0MHz to 100MHz with a resolution up to 0.1Hz. With option 030, the frequency range can be extended up to 512MHz.

Hewlett-Packard 5340A

The HP5340A frequency counter provides an easy to use, versatile instrument for the direct measurement of frequencies from 10Hz to 18GHz via a single input connector. Utilizing microwave samplers incorporated in advanced phase-lock loops, this counter excels in many important specification parameters. It is therefore well suited to a wide range of applications. The exceptional sensitivity of this instrument enhances measurements in the microwave field, where low-level signals are common place and many times are corrected via directional couplers. The display can be either nixie or led, with price being the only difference. Option 1 is the high stability time base.

The HP5342A counter provides automatic frequency measurements of up to 18GHz in highly portable packages. The powerful and versatile microprocessor controlled keyboards can accomplish offset tasks as a standard feature as well as providing user interactive diagnostic information. The eleven-digit display is sectionalized for easy readout up to 1Hz resolution. Basically, two options can improve the performance of this unit: Option 1 is the high stability time base and Option 2 is the power meter measurement.
