Hewlett-Packard 141T+8552B+8553B

The HP141T based spectrum analyzer features absolute calibration of frequency and amplitude, high resolution and sensitivity, wide dynamic range, and a simple to interpret display output. This unit has an 8cm x 10cm variable persistence CRT with a writing rate of 0.2S to 15S. Maximum storage time is more than 2 hours at reduced brightness. With the 8553B plug in, the frequency range of the analyzer is from 1KHz to 110MHz with 18 calibrated scan widths from 20Hz/div to 10MHz/div. Amplitude range is from -140dBm to +10dBm. Bandwidths are adjustable from 10Hz to 300KHz. The 8552B IF Section provides a log display range of 10dB/div and 2dB/div.


Hewlett-Packard 141T+8552B+8554B

This system package offers absolute amplitude calibration capabilities from +10dBm to -125dBm over a frequency range of 100KHz to 1250MHz. Bandwidth range is from 100Hz to 300KHz in a 1 - 3 - 10 sequence. Scan width is from 2KHz/div to 200MHz/div in a 2 - 5 - 10 sequence. Hewlett-Packard 3580A

This spectrum analyzer operates in the frequency range from 5Hz to 50KHz. The dynamic range of this unit is very broad. In linear mode it goes from 20V to 100nV full scale. In log mode it goes from +30dBm/dBV to -150 dBm/dBV. Scan width is from 50Hz to 50KHz. Sweep time is from 1 second to 2000 seconds.


Hewlett-Packard 3582A

This low frequency dual channel real time spectrum analyzer operates in the frequency range from 0.02Hz to 25.5KHz. Input sensitivity is -120dBV. It is possible with this unit to store the track in the digital memory. The dynamic range is 70dB. It is also possible to measure the phase with an accuracy of ±10 degrees.


Hewlett-Packard 3585A

This low frequency spectrum analyzer covers the range from 20Hz to 40.1MHz. The dynamic range is 80dB with a resolution of 3Hz to 30KHz.in a 1 - 3 - 10 sequence. Resolution accuracy is ±20% at the 3 dB points. This unit has a measurement range from -137dBm to +30dBm.


Hewlett-Packard 8443A

This tracking generator is designed for use with the HP141T/8553B/8552B system to 110MHz. In the HP8443A there is a built-in counter and precision RF attenuators which are useful in making substitution measurements. The amplitude range is from -120dBm to +10dBm in 10dB and 1dB steps with a continuous 1.2dB vernier.


Hewlett-Packard 8444A

The 8444A tracking generator is a signal source which, when used in conjunction with either the 8554B or 8555A spectrum analyzers, can measure the frequency response of a device. It can also be used for precision frequency measurements. This unit allows for measurements in the frequency range of 500KHz to 1250MHz, and with option 059, up to 1500MHz. The output level is 0dBm continuously variable to –10dBm.






Hewlett-Packard 8444A/059

Same unit as above with an increased frequency range of up to 1500MHz. Due to its internal 550MHz oscillator, it can also operate with other units including the HP8558B, HP8565A, HP 8569A/B, andHP8590A.


Hewlett-Packard 8445B

The HP8445B tracking pre-selector is a YIG tuned filter coupled to the HP8555A spectrum analyzer in order to be tuned exactly to the analyzer’s receiving frequency. The pre-selector suppresses the harmonic mixing image and multiple responses from 1.8GHz to 18GHz. The result is a wide, spurious free amplitude measurement range. A special connecting cable between the unit and the 141T mainframe is required.


Hewlett-Packard 182T+8557A

This mainframe is designed for the HP8557/8558/8559 spectrum analyzer series. Thanks to its extra large screen, it is possible to have a very detailed view of the signal. Due to reduced equipment size and weight, it is easily transportable. The long persistence CRT makes this unit ideal for use with spectrum analyzer plug-ins. The HP8557A plug-in covers the frequency range of 10KHz to 350MHz. The bandwidth range is from 1KHz to 3MHz.

This mainframe is designed for the HP8557/8558/8559 spectrum analyzer series. Thanks to its extra large screen, it is possible to have a very detailed view of the signal. Hewlett-Packard 8565A

This spectrum analyzer covers the frequency band of 10MHz to 22GHz with internal mixing, and up to 40GHz with external mixing. Also included is absolute amplitude calibration and a wide choice of resolution bandwidths from 1KHz to 3MHz in a 1 - 3 sequence. Bandwidth and span width are independently variable or may be coupled for optimum display when control markers are aligned. This unit can be used with the HP8444A/059 tracking generator for up to 1500MHz.

Hewlett-Packard 8566B

This is a high performance analyzer ideal for bench applications and HP-IB system use. It operates from 100Hz to 22GHz with internal mixing, and up to 325GHz with external mixing. A 10Hz resolution bandwidth and excellent frequency stability allow for difficult measurements such as line related sideband characterization at 22GHz. Amplitude range is from -134dBm to +30dBm. It has 16Kbytes of RAM for custom user defined measurement routines. Custom measurement programs can be created, either on an external controller or using the front-panel controls of the spectrum analyzer, and then stored in the non-volatile memory of the instrument.

Hewlett-Packard 8568B

This unit has basically the same characteristics as the HP8566. The fundamental difference is that the HP8568B covers from 100Hz to 1500MHz. Excellent frequency stability, sensitivity, and frequency-reference accuracy combine to allow very accurate measurement of small signals even in the presence of large signal.

Hewlett-Packard 8569B

High performance and simple operation are combined with unique new microprocessor controlled capabilities in the HP8569B microwave spectrum analyzer. The internal frequency range of 10MHz to 22GHz is extended to 40GHz using external mixers with the HP8569B option E30, and to 115GHz with other commercially available mixers. Resolution is from 100Hz to 3MHz. Dynamic range is more than 100dB. Maximum dynamic range on the digital screen is greater than 70dB. This unit can be combined with the HP8444A/059 tracking generator for up to 1500MHz.

Hewlett-Packard 8569B opt. 43 External Mixer Kit

This kit extends the frequency range from 22GHz up to 40GHz.

Tektronix 492/1/2/3

Spectrum analyzer in the 50KHz to 21GHz range is a very sturdy and compact unit. An internal microprocessor facilitates trace comparisons and adds measurement capability through the MAX HOLD function for frequency drift and amplitude change measurements. Frequency accuracy is 5MHz ±20% of span/div. Frequency span division range is 10KHz to 500MHz/div in a 1 - 2 - 5 sequence in the ranges of 500Hz, 1KHz, 2KHz, and 5KHz divisions. Resolution bandwidth is from 100Hz to 1MHz in decade steps, plus an auto-position. Reference level range is from -123dBm to +40dBm. This unit has an analog and a digital CRT with all functions displayed on screen. It comes with 3 possible options. Option 1 adds the internal pre-selector. Option 2 is the digital memory. Option 3 is the frequency stabilizer and adds a resolution of 100Hz.

Tektronix 492/P

This spectrum analyzer has all the same characteristics as the standard 492 and adds programmable capability through the IEEE-488 interface. For this reason it’s possible to print directly to a plotter.

Tektronix 494

Spectrum analyzer in the range of 50KHz to 2GHz is a very sturdy and compact unit. Internal microprocessor facilitates trace comparisons and add measurement capability through the MAX HOLD function for frequency drift and amplitude change measurements.

Tektronix 494/P

This highly versatile Tektronix 494P covers the frequency range of 10KHz to 21GHz with coax, and up to 325GHz with set of wave-guide mixers (sold separately). It features a built-in frequency counter which works up to 325GHz, full programmability with GPIB, direct plot capability, keypad data entry, non volatile memory storage, built-in HELP manual in ROM, -117dBm to +40dBm amplitude ranges, and a 30Hz resolution for frequencies of up to 60GHz. The input impedance is 50 ohms and the input connector is type N. The Tektronix 494P is also compact, rugged and portable as well.

Tektronix 495-495/P

This unit covers the frequency band of 100Hz to 1.8GHz. The Tektronix 495 is very compact, rugged and quite portable. The 495/P version has the following characteristics: Frequency accuracy of ±20KHz @ 1GHz with 100KHz/div dispersion; Counter accuracy of ±100Hz @ 1GHz; Residual frequency modulation <5Hz @ 1GHz; Frequency stability >50Hz/min; Resolution from 10Hz to 3MHz; Video filter from 0.3Hz to 30KHz.

Tektronix 496-496/P

This unit covers the frequency band of 1KHz to 1.8GHz. The Tektronix 495 is very compact, rugged and easy to transport. The 496/P version has a resolution of 30Hz to 1MHz and an IEEE-488 interface for automatic system measurements.

Tektronix 7603+7L12

The Tektronix 7603 mainframe is a large CRT screen (8 x 10 divisions)(1.22cm/div) that features an internal graticule with variable illumination and 15KV accelerating potential. The 7L12 spectrum analyzer plug-in has a 300Hz resolution bandwidth/automatic phase lock stabilization, 70dBm spurious free dynamic range and a very stable swept measurement capability (100KHz to 1.8GHz) using the TR502 tracking generator. Option 39 extends the coverage to 2.5GHz. Ease-of-use features include CRT readouts of key parameters and fully calibrated displays.

Tektronix 7603+7L13

The Tektronix 7603 mainframe is a large CRT screen (8 x 10 divisions)(1.22cm/div) that features an internal graticule with variable illumination and 15KV accelerating potential. The 7L13 spectrum analyzer plug-in performs basically the same functions as the 7L12 including a digital center frequency readout and a light that indicates when the unit is not working in calibrate mode. Also the frequency range is different from 7L12 in that it goes from 1KHz to 1.8GHz. Also in this unit, option 39 allows it to reach 2.5GHz.

Tektronix 7603+7L14

The Tektronix 7603 mainframe is a large CRT screen (8 x 10 divisions)(1.22cm/div) that features an internal graticule with variable illumination and 15KV accelerating potential. The 7L14 provides a high performance spectrum analysis in the 10KHz to 1.8GHz range. Option 39 increases coverage from 1KHz to 2.5GHz. Resolution bandwidth range is from 30Hz to 3MHz. Sensitivity is -130dBm. With the TR502 tracking generator, it is also possible to have swept measurements.

Tektronix 7603+7L18

The Tektronix 7603 mainframe is a large CRT screen (8 x 10 divisions)(1.22cm/div) that features an internal graticule with variable illumination and 15KV accelerating potential. The 7L18 provides a high performance spectrum analysis in the 1.5GHz to 18GHz band. This frequency range can be extended up to 60GHz with external mixers. Frequency resolution is 30Hz and the dynamic range is 80dB.

Tektronix 7603+7L5

The Tektronix 7603 mainframe is a large CRT screen (8 x 10 divisions)(1.22cm/div) that features an internal graticule with variable illumination and 15KV accelerating potential. The 7L5 is a high performance, high value spectrum analyzer providing the easy-to-use low frequency measurements capability. It can cover 20Hz to 5MHz in one display. Resolution bandwidth can be varied from 10Hz to 30KHz, with residual FM of not more than 1Hz peak-to-peak.

Tektronix TR502/503

The TR502 is a tracking generator for spectrum analyzers in the 7000 series (7L12/7L13/7L14). It allows for swept measurements of up to 1.8GHz. Its enhanced dynamic range is better than 110dB, is very stable, and resolves signals using a 30Hz resolution bandwidth. The Tektronix TR503 is designed for the 490 series (492/495/496). It covers the frequency band of 100KHz to 1.8GHz with a maximum level of 0dBm and a variable attenuator from 0dB to -59dB.
